P.C. Mohan

P.C. Mohan, a distinguished member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), currently holds the position of Member of Parliament representing the Bangalore Central constituency.

Born on July 24, 1963, in Bangalore to P. Chikkamuni Swamappa and P.C. Ramakka, Mohan has dedicated his career to public service and political leadership.

Mohan began his political journey by serving as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Chikpet constituency. He successfully represented the constituency for two consecutive terms.

In the 15th Lok Sabha elections, Mohan secured victory and was elected as the Member of Parliament for the Bangalore Central constituency. He was re-election for a second term in the Lok Sabha in the 2014 general elections.

Continuing his dedication to public service, Mohan was re-elected for his third consecutive term as the MP for Bangalore Central in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. His resounding victory, with a substantial margin of 1,37,500 votes, reaffirmed his strong support within the constituency.

Throughout his tenure in the Lok Sabha, Mohan has been actively engaged in various Standing Committees, including those focused on External Affairs, Urban Development, and Other Backward Classes. His participation in these committees underscores his commitment to advocating for policies that promote development and upliftment of all sections of society.

As the 2024 general elections approach, Mohan stands poised to contest once again from the Bangalore Central constituency under the BJP banner, aiming to continue his service to the people and contribute to the nation's progress.

On a personal note, Mohan is happily married to Shyla Mohan, and together they have been blessed with two children. With a net worth of Rs 75,55,29,306, Mohan combines his personal and professional endeavors to serve his constituents with integrity and dedication.
