Vijender Gupta is the MLA for Rohini, Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, a member of the DDA, and a former President of the Delhi BJP and ex-Chairman of the MCD Standing Committee. He is also an alumnus of SRCC.

Vijender began his political career as a student leader and was elected Vice President of the Delhi University Students Union in 1984. He has been elected three times in the Municipal elections from Rohini, winning with the highest margin in Delhi.

His party considers him one of India’s brightest political leaders, known for his modern thinking, transformational leadership qualities, and strong administrative skills.

3. Vijendra Gupta fought against the lottery playing in the country which resulted in a ban on the lottery in 1993 under the banner of NGO Lok Abhiyan.
