Dr. S.T. Hasan Biography

He has served as a mayor of Moradabad and switched to Bahujan Samaj Party from Samajwadi Party in 2009.
In 2014, he contested from the Moradabad constituency as a candidate of the Samajwadi Party but was defeated by Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar Singh of the Bhartiya Janata Party.
Later in 2019, he was elected to the lower house of the Parliament after defeating Kunwar Singh by 97,878 votes.
