R.K. Singh Patel, born on July 3, 1959, in Balapur, was the son of Bhagwan Deen Singh and Ram Sakhi Devi. His political journey began with his election to the 15th Lok Sabha in 2009, marking the onset of his impactful career.

In 1996, he commenced his service to the people of Uttar Pradesh as a State Minister, serving until 1997. Subsequently, he held the position of Cabinet Minister from 2002 to 2003, contributing significantly to the state's governance.

Throughout his political tenure, he demonstrated a commitment to public service, evident in his multiple terms as a Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 1996 to 2007 and later from March 2017 to May 2019.
