Anant Kumar Ojha is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Rajmahal Vidhan Sabha constituency in Jharkhand. Early in his political career, Ojha served as the President of the youth wing of the BJP, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), gaining recognition within the party.

He first won this seat in the 2014 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly elections, securing over 77,000 votes as a candidate from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Following his victory in 2014, Ojha was considered one of the potential candidates for the Chief Minister's post. He previously served as the President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).

On 7 November, Ojha was appointed General Secretary of the Jharkhand BJP. Additionally, he is a member of the Jharkhand Academic Council and has been working to promote Rajmahal as a key tourist destination. In 2019, he was re-elected as MLA from Rajmahal under the BJP ticket.
