K V Thomas is an active politician from Kerala. He joined INC in 1970 and worked his way up the ranks culminating in his appointment a Minister of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Minister of State in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, 2nd UPA Government. He represented Ernakulam Constituency from 2009 to 2019.
