Kader Mohideen K M

K.M. Kader Mohideen has published several books on comparative religion including Vazhum Neri (way of life) as well hundreds of poems in Tamil language. He was the editor of the fortnightly Tamil magazines such as Mubarak and Darul Quran.
His favourite past time and recreation are Reading, organising, helping the poor and women folk, visiting the poor and meeting the people belonging to different religions and listen to religious and spiritual discourses.
He also worked for the upliftment of the poor in society; He has started at an early age, a good mens society to help poor by providing interest free loans.
He organised the Mohalla Jamats Federation of Tamil Nadu.
Also he conducted classes for elders on compartative religion and pariticipated in Inter-Faith Dialogues held in Tiruchy, Madurai, Salem and Chennai.
He Composed hundreds of verses in Tamil. He also edited Mubarak fortnightly and Darul Quran fortnightly in Tamil

• From 2007 onwards he was the Committee member on Home Affairs.

• In early 2006, he became the member of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Wakf. On 5th August 2006, he became the Committee member on Home Affairs.

• He was elected to 14th Lok Sabha and became the member of Consultative Committee, Ministry of Power.

• K.M. Kader Mohideen was appointed as a member of the Committee on Home Affairs as well as the Consultative Committee at the Ministry of Power.

• He began his career as a journalist and later became a college teacher. He worked as a professor of history in Jamal Mohamed College, Tiruchirapalli. He was the head of the department and would have become the principal in the future had he continued in his profession. He quit his job and entered full-time political and social work.

• Mohideen graduated in M.A. (History) from the University of Madras. He also received a diploma in Arabic and Urdu. As a student attracted by Quaid-e-Millat Mohamed Ismail Sahib, Mohideen worked for the student's wing of IUML and became the statewide organiser of Muslim Students Federation.

K.M. Kader Mohideen was a member of the Senate at his alma mater University of Madras as well the Standing Committee at Bharathidasan University in the late 1970s.
He won as a DMK candidate which formed an electoral alliance with the IUML party.
He contested and won the more prestigious Lok Sabha election and became a member of parliament (MP) in his maiden attempt.
In 2003, he became the member of Tamil Nadu Haj Committee.
