In 2005, he became increasingly active in IUML organisational affairs and public programmes in Palakkad district. Through involvement in welfare initiatives, legal advocacy, and political mobilisation, he strengthened his visibility among party workers and local communities.

Between 2010 and 2020, Samsudheen continued to expand his political presence through constituency outreach, issue-based campaigns, and active participation in United Democratic Front political activities.
