G.M Siddeshwara of BJP is an MP of Davangera constituency in Karnataka. He has retained this seat for three consecutive terms by defeating S.S Mallikarjuna's of INC and his rival in all three General elections. In conjunction with his unfaltering success in this constituency, he was also the Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, prior to that he was the Minister of State for Civil Aviation of India till he resigned from the Ministry after a few days of a cabinet reshuffle in July 2016.
