Dr. Rekhaben Hiteshbhai Chaudhary

Dr Rekhaben Chaudhary is one of those handful of female candidates selected by the Bharatiya Janta Party from Gujarat for the upcoming 2024 general elections. Her name has been nominated for the Banaskantha Lok Sabha constituency.

Currently, she is a Media Convener of North Zone at the BJP's Gujarat unit. Additionally, she is in charge of Sabarkantha, BJP. Furthermore, she is a Deputy Chief of Mehsana District Bharat Scout Guide Sangh. Apart from this, she is a managing director of The Gujarat State Fruit and Vegetable Processing-Marketing Cooperative Federation Limited.

Earlier, she was a member of the Indian National Congress and even served as a Women President of The Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC). She joined the ruling party in 2017 and played a key role in the election.

Before joining politics, she has been working as a professor in the Engineering college for the last 20 years.

As a kind-hearted woman, she helps people to uplift their life. She aims to improve people’s lives by helping with social and interpersonal difficulties and promoting human rights and wellbeing.

She travels to remote locations in Gujarat to understand the needs and pain of others. She believes we should help each other for a better life.

She helps and encourages disabled people. Over the years, she has launched several programmes for the differently abled including distributing disabled-friendly mobile phones.

She was a spokesperson and General Secretary of The Global Precipitation Climatology Centre (GPCC).

On a personal front, Dr. Rekhaben Chaudhary was born to Shankarbhai Chaudhary in Ahmedabad in 1970. She is the granddaughter of Galbabhai Chaudhary who founded Banas Dairy.

Dr. Chaudhary's husband is Dr. Hitesh Chaudhary who is in BJP’s Morbi district incharge.
