Dr Shrikant Eknath Shinde

Shrikant Shinde, a prominent political leader from Maharashtra and a dedicated member of the Shiv Sena party, was born on 4 February 1987 in Mumbai. He is the son of Eknath Shinde, the current Chief Minister of Maharashtra. From a young age, Shrikant displayed a passion for public service, which led him to pursue a career in politics.



In 2014, at the age of 27, Shrikant was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency, marking the beginning of his political journey. His election to the 16th Lok Sabha made him one of the youngest MPs in the country. His work and dedication to his constituency earned him widespread recognition, and in 2019, he was re-elected, further strengthening his position as a key figure in Maharashtra's political landscape.



Shrikant continued to focus on improving the lives of his constituents by championing several major projects, including the Kalyan Ring Road Project and the Waterway Transport Project, both aimed at enhancing infrastructure and connectivity in the region. His consistent efforts earned him a third consecutive term in the 2024 Lok Sabha election.



Despite his achievements, Shrikant faced controversy when a photograph of him with gangster Hemant Dabhekar, taken at the Chief Minister�s official residence, went viral. This sparked political debates and raised questions about his associations, leading to repercussions within the Yuva Sena.



On the personal front, Shrikant married Vrushali Shrikant Shinde on 16 November 2016. His declared net worth is Rs 14,92,08,812, and he has no criminal cases against him.
