Priyanka Chaturvedi Biography

Priyanka Chaturvedi was born to Purushottam Chaturvedi and Chandrakanta Chaturvedi in Mumbai on 19th November 1978. She married Vickram Narendranath Chaturvedi in 1999 and was blessed with two children with him.

She was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Maharashtra in 2020 on the Shiv Sena ticket. Presently, she serves as a member of the Committee on Transport, Tourism, and Culture and a member of the Committee on Empowerment of Women.

As an alumna of ISB's 10000 Women programme, sponsored by Goldman Sachs, she has demonstrated her commitment to empowering women in business. A prolific writer, her thought-provoking opinion columns have graced the pages of numerous newspapers and online platforms. Her book review blog earned acclaim, securing a spot among India's top ten literary blogs.

Recognised for her leadership and influence, she participated in prestigious programs like the Asian Forum on Global Governance. She is also considered one of the top 10 upcoming Indian women politicians.

She has been invited to speak at international forums such as Hamburg's Zeit Stiftung.
