Sri Bikram Keshari Arukha ,An advocate by profession and a politician by passion is one of the prominent political figure In Odisha. His leadership qualities came in display as early as in 1982 when he became the President of K.S.U.B. College Students' Union and Vice president Berhampur University Students' Union. He completed his masters in Law from Berhampur University. Agriculture is one his interesting field and His wife Smt. Jays Laxmi Arukha leads Coaching Institute.
His official entry in politics was in year 1995 when he contested from Bhanjanagar constituency as a candidate of Janata Dal and elected to the assembly. From then ,there is no turn back for him. He subsequently elected in 12th,13th,14th,15th Odisha Assembly election . In 2008 he became Govt. Chief Whip. From 2009, He was imbibed in cabinet and he served as head many ministries like Rural development, Law, Forest and Envirnoment and Others.
