Muzibulla Khan Biography

Muzibulla Khan was born to Kalimulla Khan and Ambiya Begum in Jagdalpur on 13th January 1963.

He was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Odisha in 2020 on the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) ticket. He has been engaged with the BJD from its inception, serving as President of the BJD Minority Cell.

Currently, he is a Member of the Committee on Energy. Additionally, he is a Member of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Minority Affairs. Furthermore, he has been made a Member of the Zonal Rail Users’ Consultative Committee (East Coast Railway). Lastly, he is also a Member of the Committee on Information and Communication Technology Management in Rajya Sabha.

Before joining politics, he was an Odia film actor. He began his career in Odia cinema and gained recognition for his roles in films such as ‘Mamata Ra Dori’ (1989) and ‘Mu Kana Ete Kharap’ (2010). With numerous Odia films to his credit, he's renowned for his memorable performances in movies like 'Ganga Shiuli Ki Heba Sua Posile,' 'Kiye Kahara,' 'Kanah,' 'Kasturi,' 'Bapa Akashe Ki Ranga Lagila,' 'Chati Chiri Dele Tu,' and more, along with appearances in TV serials. He also ventured into Hindi serials, starring in popular shows like 'Yug Nayak,' 'Palasha,' and 'Dhara.'

He married Sahida Khatun in 1991 and they are blessed with one daughter. His net worth is Rs 2,33,57,512 and his liabilities stand at Rs 14,00,000.
