Yogesh Kumar, a 35-year-old resident of Safidon city in Jind district, Haryana, has been an active leader in the BJP. His leadership has been instrumental during key rescue and relief efforts, including the Chennai floods and assisting stranded Indian nationals during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He began his career by serving for nine years as a Captain in the Indian Army before transitioning to aviation, where he worked as a pilot. Later, Yogesh made his way into politics, following in the footsteps of his father, Narendra Kumar, who had also been a member of the BJP and previously sought a party ticket.
Currently, Yogesh holds the position of State Vice President in the BJP’s youth wing (BJYM) and is also the State Co-Convenor of BJP Haryana’s Sports Cell. He is married, has one son, and holds a Bachelor’s degree. His declared assets amount to Rs 9,91,59,874, with no criminal cases.
