Govind Singh Thakur Biography

Govind Singh Thakur is a politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has been serving as MLA representing Manali constituency since 2007. Earlier, Thakur also held the chair as Minister of Forest, Transport, Youth Services and Sports till 2020. And now, he is the Education & Language and Culture Minister in Jai Ram Thakur cabinet. About his personal life, Govind Thakur was born on October 3, 1968, at Village Kanyal, Tehsil Manali. His father Shri Kunj Lal Thakur was a Minister of Himachal Pradesh. Politician Govind completed study from Govt Degree College, Kullu. He is married to Smt. Rajni Thakur; he is the father of two sons.
