Satish Kumar Gautam

Satish Kumar Gautam was born on 1 July 1972 in Aligarh to Damodar Gautam and Ram Devi. He completed his schooling in the region and later became involved in business activities before entering public life and politics.

Gautam became associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party and developed his political base in the Aligarh region through party organisation work and local political engagement. His political career gained prominence when he contested parliamentary elections from Aligarh representing the party.

In the 2014 Indian general election, he was elected as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha from the Aligarh Lok Sabha constituency. He secured 5,14,622 votes and defeated the Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Arvind Kumar Singh by a margin of 2,86,736 votes, marking his entry into national politics.

He was re-elected in the 2019 Indian general election, retaining the Aligarh seat for the Bharatiya Janata Party and continuing his parliamentary tenure. During his time in Parliament, he served on the Standing Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers and participated in parliamentary discussions and constituency-related initiatives.

In the 2024 Indian general election, Gautam won the Aligarh Lok Sabha seat for a third consecutive term, polling 501,834 votes and defeating Indian National Congress candidate Bijendra Singh.

As of 2026, Satish Kumar Gautam continues to serve as the Member of Parliament from Aligarh and remains active in political and parliamentary affairs.
