Vikramaditya Singh Biography

Vikramaditya Singh, born on October 17, 1989, in Shimla, is the son of the late Virbhadra Singh, former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, and his mother also served as an MP from the Mandi constituency in the Lok Sabha.

In 2013, Vikramaditya entered politics actively, assuming the role of State Youth Congress President until 2017.

He presently serves as an Indian MLA representing the Shimla Rural constituency of Himachal Pradesh. He secured victories in the HP legislative assembly elections of 2017 and 2022 as a candidate of the Indian National Congress. Since January 8, 2023, he has held the position of Cabinet Minister in Himachal Pradesh, overseeing portfolios of Public Works, Youth Services, and Sports.
