Su. Thirunavukkarasar is a politician from Tamil Nadu, who currently serves as a secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) of the Indian National Congress. He was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly during his young age. He served as Tamil Nadu state minister from 1980 to 1987 in MGR's cabinet, handling different portfolios. He has also got elected to Lok Sabha. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for a brief period and was also a member of the Rajya Sabha.

Currently, as AICC secretary, he is responsible for Telangana and participated in the selection of Jana Reddy as leader of the opposition.
