Sudhanshu Trivedi

Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi was born to U.D. Trivedi and Priyamvada Trivedi in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on 20th October 1970.

In October 2019, Dr Trivedi entered the political arena, being elected to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian parliament. Since then, he has served on various committees.

From February 2020 onwards, Dr Trivedi has been a member of the Committee on Defence. Simultaneously, since July 2020, he has been a member of the Committee on Energy. Furthermore, he was a member of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Education.

His service extends beyond legislative duties, as evidenced by his membership in the Advisory Council of the Delhi Development Authority since March 2020. He was also a member of the Committee of Privileges from April 2021 to November 2022. Additionally, he was a member of the Joint Committee on the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019, from August to December 2021.

Moreover, he served as a member of the Committee on Public Accounts since August 2021.

Notably, he has been a member of the Committee on Papers Laid on the Table since November 2022.

Beyond his political endeavours, Dr Trivedi finds solace in literature and science, often indulging in reading books and participating in cultural activities.

In his personal life, Dr. Trivedi shares a fulfilling partnership with Dr. Shalini Trivedi, with whom he has been blessed with two children.
