Bhupender Yadav, the current Union Cabinet Minister of Labour and Employment, Environment, Forest and Climate Change in the Indian Government, also holds the position of National General Secretary of the BJP.
Born on June 30, 1969, in Ajmer, Rajasthan to Shri Kadam Singh, he has been a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha representing Rajasthan since 2012. Before entering politics, Yadav practised law, serving as an Advocate in the Supreme Court and as a Government Counsel for significant Commissions.
Yadav is a co-author of the Supreme Court on Forest Conservation, published by Universal Law Publisher in 2005. He also demonstrated his literary inclination by contributing articles to legal magazines like 'Nyayapravah' and various leading newspapers and magazines.
Apart from his political and legal career, Yadav has a keen interest in poetry and literature. He even runs a programme named, e-libraries for village children. Additionally, he finds solace in doing Yoga.
On a personal front, he married Babita Yadav in 1996, with whom he has two daughters, Pragya and Shubha Yadav. His net worth is recorded at Rs 1,24,85,915.
