Shobha Karandlaje is an Indian politician. She serves as the Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare. Additionally, she is a member of parliament, representing the Udupi Chikmagalur seat in the lower house of the Indian parliament.

Raised by her parents Monappa Gowda and Poovakka, Shobha's early association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) marked the beginning of her journey in public service. Her dedication to the RSS led her to forgo marriage and commit her life to the organisation.
In 1994, Shobha embarked on her political career alongside Shakuntala Shetty, gradually gaining recognition within the BJP.
