Ram Tahal Choudhary is the son of Late Dashrath Choudhary and a native of Ranchi and is born in Ormanjhi village of Ranchi and has established many educational institutions in Ranchi. Ram Tahal Choudhary is a politician, Educationalist, Philanthropist belonging to Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a member of the Lok Sabha elected from Ranchi in Jharkhand. He had earlier served as a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. He is one of the longest-serving Member of Parliament from Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency.
