Radha Mohan Singh is an Indian politician born on September 1, 1949, in Narha Panapur, East Champaran, Bihar, to Baidya Nath Singh and Jai Sundari Devi. He began his political career in 1967 as the Nagar Pramukh of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in Motihari.

Singh has been a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) since childhood and has held various positions in the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He served as the Organizational Secretary for Jana Sangh in East Champaran from 1970 to 1977 and as General Secretary of BJP East Champaran from 1977 to 1980. He then became the Regional Organising Secretary for BJP Muzaffarpur, Bihar, from 1980 to 1987, and President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in Bihar from 1988 to 1990.

In 1989, Singh was elected to the 9th Lok Sabha, marking the start of his parliamentary career. He was re-elected to the 11th Lok Sabha in 1996, the 13th Lok Sabha in 1999, the 15th Lok Sabha in 2009, the 16th Lok Sabha in 2014, and the 17th Lok Sabha in 2019, representing the Purvi Champaran constituency.

Throughout his political career, Singh has held numerous significant positions. He was the General Secretary of BJP Bihar from 1990 to 1993, Secretary of the State Election Committee from 1993 to 2000, and State President of BJP Bihar from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, he served as the Union Minister of Agriculture from 2014 to 2019, overseeing policies and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of farmers and the rural sector.

Singh currently serves as the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Railways and a member of several other parliamentary committees, including the General Purposes Committee and the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and the Ministry of Communications. He is also the Prabhari (in-charge) of BJP in Uttar Pradesh and has previously held the position of Prabhari in Uttarakhand.

Apart from his political engagements, Singh has been actively involved in social work, serving as the President of Vaidyanath Seva Trust, Rickshaw Chalak Kalyan Samiti, and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayay Smriti Nyas. He has also contributed to the sports sector as the District President and Ex-State Vice President of the Association of Bihar Cricket.
