Harak Singh Rawat is a member of the Legislative assembly of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in India. He is the part of Bhartiya Janta Party. He borned on 15 December 1960.
Harak Singh Rawat completed his postgraduate work in arts in 1984. He holds a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in 1996 in Military Science from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand. His wife name is Deepti Rawat. He used to be the part of Congress. In 1991 Harak Singh Rawat won assembly election from Pauri and became youngest Minister of U.P State. He was the candidate of Congress from Garhwal in Indian general election in 2014. Harak Singh Rawat a former Congress MLA, was one of the nine legislators who had revolted against Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat. Expelled by the Congress. After that he had then joined the BJP.
