He was also elected the Member of Parliament from Dahod in Gujarat. He contested and won two consecutive elections from Dahod parliamentary constituency. In 2019, he won the 17th Lok Sabha and defeated Katara Babubhai Khimabhai of INC with a 52% vote-share.
