Priyanka Tiberwal is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janta Party. She is the Vice President of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha, West Bengal unit. As a national spokesperson of the BJP, she is often seen on TV debates presenting her party's views on various issues.
Priyanaka received her primary education from Welland Goulsmith School in Kolkata and then move to Delhi University to pursue Bachelor of Arts degree and then obtained a degree in law from Hazara Law College, Kolkata. Her academic journey took her Thailand where she studied at Assumption University,Thailand and returned with an MBA in HR.
After coming back to India she started practicing as an advocate in District and High Court, Kolkata and handled many low and high profile cases. She was a close aide and legal advisor to former Union Minister, Babul Suprio. The later was also a family friend of Mrs Tiberwal and it is believed that Mr Suprio motivated her to come into active politics. She joined the BJP in August, 2014 and fought her maiden election in 2015 while she took on the TMC candidate in the Municipal Election in ward number 58 in Kolkata.
She is married to Mr Aditya Kumar Tiberwal, who is a Chartered Accountant by profession and the couple are blessed with two lovely daughters. Before entering politics, Priyanka Tiberwal would work for an NGO which strives to set and uplift the educational facilities for the underprivileged section of society.
