Graduating in Bachelor of Commerce and later securing a Gold Medal in Master of Commerce, both from Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University in Ajmer, he demonstrated exceptional academic prowess.

Furthering his qualifications, Gourav attained his Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2004. He pursued his passion for teaching by embarking on an academic career, teaching finance at institutions like Marwar College, XLRI, and others.
