Pawan Singh is a popular Bhojpuri singer. He is known for his work in regional music videos and movies. He is acknowledged as one of the best Bhojpuri singers of all time. He is known as the 'Power Star' in the Bhojpuri film industry.

Pawan Singh was born to Rama Shankar Singh and Pratima Singh at Jokahri Village in the Arrah City of Bihar on 5th January 1986.

He made his debut as a singer with the album 'Odhaniya Wali' in 1997. After this, he gave many hit albums like 'Lollypop Lagelu' and 'Kaanch Kasailli.' In 2020, he stepped into Bollywood with the song 'Kamariya Hila Rahi Hai.'

Then he made his acting debut with the Bhojpuri film 'Rangli Chunariya Tohre Naam' in 2007. He starts acting in Bhojpuri films as a 'Pratigya,' 'Pawan Purwaiya,' and many more. His movie career lasted for nearly two decades.

Pawan Singh entered into politics by joining the ruling, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) in 2014. The BJP nominated him for the 2024 general elections from the Asansol Lok Sabha constituency. But he declined to contest the elections after All India Trinamool Congress leaders posted screenshots of his misogynistic and vulgar songs on social media.

On a personal front, Pawan Singh married Neelam Singh in 2014 but after a few months of marriage, Neelam committed suicide at their Andheri's home in Mumbai. During, his career in the music and film industry, his name has been linked to several Bhojpuri actresses like Kaavya Singh, Akshara Singh, and others. He married Jyoti Singh, a fashion designer in 2018. Later, Jyoti filed a police complaint in Ballia against him for mentally harassing her. In 2019, his ex-girlfriend, Akshara Singh also filed an FIR against him for allegedly giving her death threats.
