Sri Mahesh Giri a unique blend of a Monk,Social Worker and master politician who hails from Nashik, Maharastra is born in 1974. Swayed by his spiritual quest ,He left home for himalaya at the age of 17 only.After a year as a spiritually hungry wanderer; He became the desciple of Swami Amrit Giri ji, (Dattatrey Peeth Girnar Junagadh).A great believer in the vision of Sri Ravishankar Guruji ,He also became the International Director Of Art of Living Foundation for some period of time.
To Give more louder voice to his ideas, he entered in political sphere and joined BJP. Consequently He was elected to the parliament in 2014 Lokasabha Elections from East Delhi constituency.He has taken it upon himself to change the landscape of the East Delhi constituency leading to countless initiatives including the popular Girri Chaupals in each ward of his constituency.He is also credited with spearheading Raahgiri at Shadhara, Bank Aap Ke Dwar at JJ Clusters, Good Governance Abhiyan and opening of Helplines for East Delhiites. The success of Girri Chaupal and Raahgiri has lifted him into a different pedestal of Leadership.The resolution of local problems and by laying road in the area, he has struck an emotional chord with residents of East Delhi.
