Prahlad Singh Patel is one of the senior BJP leaders in Madhya Pradesh. A former Minister of coal in the Vajpayee administration, Prahlad Singh was first elected to 9th Lok Sabha in 1989 and again re-elected to 11th Lok Sabha in 1996 (2nd term), 13th Lok Sabha in 1999 (3rd term), 16th Lok Sabha in 2014 (4th term).

Prahlad Singh Patel is one of the senior BJP leaders in Madhya Pradesh. A former Minister of coal in the Vajpayee administration, Prahlad Singh was first elected to 9th Lok Sabha in 1989 and again re-elected to 11th Lok Sabha in 1996 (2nd term), 13th Lok Sabha in 1999 (3rd term), 16th Lok Sabha in 2014 (4th term). He presently serves as the Member of Indian Parliament from Damoh Loksabha Constituency in Madhya Pradesh. He is the Founder of Narmadakhand Seva Sansthan Masandha, Tehsil. Bahoriband in Katni district. He conducts various blood donation and eye donation camps regularly and also conducts various classes for educating poor children and personality development courses. He is a member of the Vegetarian Council Committee to promote value-based vegetarian life style and complete prohibition. Patel is fully devoted to the preservation of Indian Culture, development of rural areas, farmers, sports under the guidance of Guru “Shri Shri Baba Shri of Nirvikar Path”. In 2019, he contested and won in the Damoh Parliamentary constituency and was subsequently appointed as MoS (independent charge) of the ministry of culture and MoS of the ministry of tourism.
