Dilip Ghosh is an active Politician who is presently the president of BJP for the West Bengal Unit. Dilip Ghosh is a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party. Dilip Ghosh was born and brought up in West Bengal. He was born on 1 August 1964 to late Bholanath Ghosh and has three brothers. Dilip Ghosh after finishing his schooling joined RSS – Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as a Pracharak. He is also the President of BJP in the Bengal Unit.

• 2019 : Under his leadership, in this year, Lok Sabha election in West Bengal, the Bharatiya Janata Party, without any major political alliance, won 18 Lok Sabha seats out of the 42 constituencies in West Bengal with 40.25% votes. Ghosh himself contested and won the Medinipur Lok Sabha constituency in the 2019 elections by a margin of 88,952 votes and a vote share of 48.62% by defeating Trinamool Congress candidate Manas Bhunia.
• 2017 : Elected as president of BJP for the West Bengal Unit.
• 2016 : 2016 West Bengal Assembly election, Dilip Ghosh won from Kharagpur Sadar constituency of Paschim Medinipur district by defeating his nearest rival Gyan Singh Sohanpal (Congress).
