Venkaiah Naidu Biography

Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu was born in 1949 to Rangaiah Naidu and Ramanamma.
He pursued his bachelor's degree in politics and diplomatic studies.
Later, completed a bachelor's degree in law with specialization in international law from Andhra University College of Law.
Naidu's oratory skills and political activism propelled his career and he was elected as an MLA to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly two times in 1978 and 1983.
He was also the Union Cabinet Minister for Rural Development in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government.
Venkaiah is currently serving as the 13th Vice President of India since 2017.
