Ram Charitra Nishad was born on 1st May 1964 in Delhi. He is the son of Shri Ram Narayan and Smt. Dhanpati Devi. On the education front, he has completed his studies from A.P.N. Degree College, Basti, Uttar Pradesh. On April 23, 2000, he got married Anamika Sharma and has one son and a daughter. Ram Charitra Nishad is currently a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He successfully contested the general elections in 2014 from the Machhlishahr (Lok Sabha constituency).

Under the Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan scheme, Ram Charitra Nishad inaugurated a 5-seated toilet with modern facilities in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. He also took part in a rally conducted by the locals of Sonapur during the 72nd Independence Day remembering the martyrs.
