Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar was born to Narayan Krishna Shejwalkar and Vimal Shejwalkar in Kandivali on 13th March 1947. He married Nilima Shejwalkar in 1974 and was blessed with two children with her.
He was elected on the Bharatiya Janata Party ticket to the 17th Lok Sabha from the Gwalior constituency in Madhya Pradesh in the 2019 general elections.
His special interest lies in urban development, activities in solid waste management, sewage management and water treatment infrastructures and even successfully implemented many schemes as Mayor.
He contributed for many years in the cooperative sector as a Secretary at Nagrik Sahakari Bank. He made a special contribution as a founder member of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Gwalior.
During his leisure time, he enjoys listening to music and watching programmes on T.V. related to science, nature, environment and technological development. He also likes reading, playing with children, swimming and car driving.
His favourite games include cricket and Kho-kho. He even participated in the Kho-kho tournament at the University level.
