Vipin Singh Parmar is an MLA representing the Sullah constituency as a candidate for BJP.
Vipin Singh Parmar belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as the Speaker of the state Legislative Assembly. He is the current MLA from Sullah constituency since 2017. Earlier, he was first elected to the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1998. Later, he was re-elected in the years 2007 and 2017, respectively. From December 2017 to February 2020, he served as Minister for Health and Family Welfare in the Jai Ram Thakur ministry.
On 28th February 2024, he was expelled by the Himachal Pradesh assembly speaker, Kuldeep Singh Pathania for misbehaviour and shouting slogans in the House.
Regarding personal life, Vipin Parmar was born on March 15, 1963, to Late Shri. Kanchan Singh Parmar and Late Smt. Swarna Parmar in Bengaluru. He got married to Smt. Sharmila Parmar in 1995, was a Mathematics Lecturer. Their daughter Maithila Parmar is a doctor by profession and their son's name is Dhananjay Parmar.
