Chandra Prakash Joshi, born on November 4, 1975, in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, began his journey in public service early in his life. After completing his education at Maharana Pratap PG College in Chittorgarh, where he held the positions of Vice President and President of the Student Union, he pursued his B.Com from Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur.

In the year 2000, Joshi became a member of Chittorgarh Zilla Parishad and dedicated himself to various developmental projects in the area until 2005. Following this, he served as the deputy head of Bhadesar Panchayat Samiti from 2005 to 2010, contributing significantly to local development initiatives. Simultaneously, he remained an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), holding positions in the state executive and being twice appointed as a special invitee.

Joshi's political career gained momentum when he was elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) from the Chittorgarh Lok Sabha constituency in 2014 and subsequently re-elected in 2019. As a parliamentarian, Joshi emerged as a vocal advocate for various public issues, ranging from skill development to women and child development, in the Lok Sabha. In addition to his parliamentary duties, Joshi actively engaged with the youth as the State President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, fostering a robust network of party workers across Rajasthan. His organisational skills and dedication to grassroots politics earned him accolades within the party, leading to his appointment as the Rajasthan State Vice President in 2020.

Outside of politics, Joshi has demonstrated a passion for sports, having organised numerous district-level competitions and serving as the President of the District Wrestling Association.

His commitment to environmental conservation is evident through initiatives like the "Harit Parisar Abhiyan," aimed at planting over 5.76 lakh saplings in his parliamentary constituency in 2020.

In the 2019 elections, Joshi secured a resounding victory, reaffirming the trust of his constituents in his leadership.
