Sandosh Kumar P

Sandosh Kumar P was born to K.P. Prabhakaran and P.V. Radha in Chittariparamba on 9th August 1971. He married Dr. Lalitha M. in 2002 and was blessed with two children.

He was elected to the upper house of the Indian parliament, the Rajya Sabha from Kerala in 2022. He belongs to the Communist Party of India.

Currently, he is a member of the Committee on Industry and a member of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Cooperation.

He even held the position of District Secretary in Kannur for AISF, AIYF, and C.P.I.
Served as a Syndicate Member at Kannur University from 2016 to 2022. He is a former State President and Secretary for the All India Students' Federation (AISF). He was appointed as All India General Secretary for the All India Youth Federation (AIYF).

Apart from politics, he is an active writer. He has published more than 100 articles related to various contemporary socio-political issues in Malayalam dailies and has published more than 20 articles in New Age (weekly).

His interest lies in playing chess, volleyball and football. He even participated in many chess tournaments.
