P Sriramakrishnan

P Sriramakrishnan, Speaker of the 14th Kerala Legislative Assembly is a member of the Ponnani Assembly constituency. P Sriramakrishnan has a political tradition that started with Balasangham and grew through SFI and DYFI.During his studies at Pattikad Government High School, he worked as an SFI Unit Secretary. He continued his political activities in NSS college Pattambi as well. During his college days, he served as SFI Unit Secretary, College Union member and later SFI Palakkad District President.
He has also been elected Chairman of the Calicut University Union, Member of the Senate and Member of the Syndicate. Sree Ramakrishnan, who served in the DYFI block and district levels for nearly ten years, was then elected State President of DYFI in 2005.
He first entered the assembly from Ponnani assembly constituency in 2011. P Sriramakrishnan, who repeated his victory in the 2016 elections, was also elected Speaker of the 14th Legislative Assembly.
