Nusrat Jahan is a prominent Bengali actress, who forayed into active politics in April 2019 by pledging her allegiance to TMC. She contested and won to the 17th Lok Sabha elections from Basirhat constituency with the second highest victory margin.
However, Nusrat is a talented and known face over Bengali film fraternity. She is displayed in numerous blockbuster movies such as Khiladi, with Ankush Hazra, Sondhe Namar Agey, with Rahul Bose, Power, with Jeet and so on.
About personal life, Nusrat Jahan was born on 8th January, 1990 to Shah Jahan and Sushma Khatun. She got married to Actor Yash Dasgupta in 2020 and they have a son named, Yishaan.
