Nisith Pramanik Biography

Nisith Pramanik, born on January 17, 1986, to Bidhu Bhushan Pramanik and Chhanda Pramanik in Coochbehar district of West Bengal, is a prominent figure in Indian politics.

He serves as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the 17th Lok Sabha, representing the Coochbehar constituency as a Bhartiya Janata Party candidate. The ruling party has again nominated him to contest from the same seat in the 2024 general election.

Prior to his role in the Lok Sabha, he held the position of Member of Legislative Assembly from the Dinhata constituency in West Bengal.

Despite his resignation from the legislative post to focus on his parliamentary duties, Nisith remains dedicated to serving his constituents.

Outside of politics, he finds joy in music, literature, and sports, particularly in football and cricket.

Nisith is happily married to Priyanka Pramanik, and together, they are proud parents of two sons.
