Mukesh Dalal

Mukesh Dalal, a prominent figure in Surat's political landscape, has garnered recognition for his extensive involvement within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Dalal's journey within the BJP began with his active participation at the state level in the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. Over the years, he ascended through the ranks, serving as a city executive member of the BJP and later assuming the role of general secretary of the Surat City BJP unit.

His tenure within the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) is marked by notable achievements. Dalal represented the Adajan-Pal-Palanpor area as a councilor for three consecutive terms from 2005 to 2020. His exceptional leadership qualities were further demonstrated during his tenure as the Standing Committee Chairman of the SMC, where he served for an impressive five terms.

Beyond his political endeavours, Dalal has made significant contributions to the community as the former chairperson of The Surat Peoples Cooperative Bank Ltd.

Dalal's commitment to the BJP and his community spans over four decades, with his active involvement dating back to 1981. His close association with prominent figures within the party, including Gujarat BJP chief and Navsari MP CR Patil, underscores his influence and standing within the political sphere.

Most recently, Dalal secured a notable victory in the Surat Lok Sabha election, winning unopposed.

As a general secretary of the Surat City BJP and a member of the SDCA committee, Dalal continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the political landscape of Surat and advocating for the welfare of its residents.
