Navneet Ravi Rana is an Indian actor-turned politician from Maharashtra and a former Member of Parliament. She was the representative of the Amravati Lok Sabha constituency and is recognized for her influence in Vidarbha politics. In the beginning, she contested as an independent candidate in the elections, but later she joined the national political alliances.

She has been a member of the parliament and also involved in the activities of her constituency. Presently, she is still active in public and political life in Maharashtra.

Navneet Ravi Rana, born on April 6th, 1985, in Mumbai, is an Indian politician and social activist.

Navneet completed her tenth-grade education at Karthika High School in Kurla West in Mumbai, before leaving school to pursue a career in modeling. She entered the entertainment industry through music videos and made her debut in the Kannada film 'Darshan.' However, it was her role in the Telugu tragedy drama 'Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi' that brought her widespread recognition.

The following year, Navneet showcased her acting skills in Telugu and Bollywood with films like 'Chetna: The Excitement,' 'Good Boy,' 'Jagapathi,' and 'Sitam.'

In 2009, she ventured into Malayalam cinema with the comedy-drama 'Love in Singapore,' starring alongside Mammootty. In 2010, she appeared in the Punjabi film 'Lad Gaya Pecha,' co-starring Gurpreet Ghuggi.

In 2011, Rana tied the knot with Ravi Rana, an independent Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Badnera constituency in Maharashtra's Amravati region and was blessed with two children with her.

She entered the political arena by being elected to the 17th Lok Sabha from Amravati as an Independent candidate.

During her tenure, she held significant positions including Member of the Consultative Committee for the Ministries of Finance and Corporate Affairs from September 13, 2020, onwards. Prior to this, she served as a Member of the Standing Committee on External Affairs from September 13, 2019, to September 13, 2020, and as a Member of the Standing Committee on Agriculture.

On March 28, 2024, Navneet Ravi Rana joined the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which nominated her to contest elections from the same constituency.

Outside of politics, she is deeply involved in social work, particularly as a mentor for the social organisation "Yuva Swabhiman," dedicated to empowering the deprived and poor classes.
