Prof. (Dr.) Ram Shankar Katheria is an Indian politician. He is the Member of Parliament from Etawah Lok Sabha constituency in UP, who also served as the Ex-Chairperson of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes and as the former Minister of State for HRD in the Government of India.
Prof. (Dr.) Ram Shankar Katheria is a prominent figure in Indian politics, representing the Etawah constituency of Uttar Pradesh as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). With a strong track record, he has been renominated by the BJP to contest the 2024 general elections from the same region.
Born on September 21, 1964, in Nagariyasarawha, Etawah district, Uttar Pradesh, Ram Shankar Katheria is the son of Sone Lal and Shanti Devi.
Having previously won two consecutive elections from the Agra Lok Sabha constituency, Ram Shankar Katheria served as a Minister of State in the Human Resource Development Ministry until July 6, 2016.
