Kampu Dolo, hailing from Arunachal Pradesh, is a notable figure in Indian politics. He served as the deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh during Kalikho Pul's administration, alongside Gegong Apang.
In July 2003, Dolo established the Congress (Dolo) party, subsequently forming a coalition government with Gegong Apang's Arunachal Congress. However, on August 30, 2003, he merged Congress (D) with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), becoming a member of the latter. In 2015, Dolo switched his allegiance amidst turmoil within the Indian National Congress government.
Unfortunately, Dolo faced electoral setbacks on March 8, 2017, when allegations arose that his candidacy had been fraudulently withdrawn, resulting in his opponent being elected unopposed.
