Gopal Swarup Pathak served as the fourth vice president of India. He was born on 26 February 1896 at Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.
Pathak completed his study in law at Allahabad University. Previously, he was the judge in Allahabad High Court from 1945 to 1946.
Later, he was the member of Rajya Sabha from 1960-66 and Union Minister of Law from 1966 to 1967.
Moreover, Pathak was honored with "Proud Past Alumni".
