Divya Spandana (Ramya) Biography
Born as Divya Spandana in Bangalore, Ramya is a popular Kannada actress and politician. She completed her schooling in Ooty and Chennai. She debuted in the film industry opposite Kannada actor Puneet Rajkumar in 2003 with the film titled `Abhi'. She even acted in a few Tamil and Telugu films. Acting with all the biggies in the Kannada Industry, she soon rose as the top actress in the Kannada industry.
She joined the National Congress youth wing in 2012 and contested Mandya by-election in 2013 tasted victory on her first attempt and became a member of the Parliament. She was defeated by a narrow margin in the 2014 general parliamentary election. She took over Congress's Social Media wing and digital team in 2017.
