Derek O’Brien is affiliated with the All India Trinamool Congress party. He is the chief national spokesperson and leader of the Trinamool Congress Parliamentary party in the Rajya Sabha. Before starting the Parliamentary journey, Biren earned popularity as the quizmaster for the Bournvita Quiz Contest among other shows.
