C. Djeacoumar was born and raised in Puducherry, where he entered public life through local political engagement. Before his legislative career, he was actively involved in party organisation and community affairs within the AINRC.
In the 2021 Puducherry Assembly elections, Djeacoumar contested from the Mangalam Assembly constituency and won, defeating the DMK candidate by a significant margin. This marked his first term as an MLA in the Puducherry Legislative Assembly.
Following his election, he was appointed to the Cabinet of Puducherry led by Chief Minister N.
