Bhagat Ram Mishra Biography

Bhagat Ram Mishra, a resident of Bahraich, is an elder brother of former Member of Parliament, Daddan Mishra. His political journey began in the Congress Party before he transitioned to the Samajwadi Party (SP). Later, he aligned with the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), only to return to the Samajwadi Party the next year.

Currently, he has been nominated by the SP as its candidate for the Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat. He is standing against BJP's Karan Bhushan Singh, son of Brij Bhushan Singh.

Aside from his political pursuits, Bhagat Ram Mishra is a senior advocate. His wife, hailing from Khupena village in Payagpur, Bahraich, has also served as the former District Panchayat President in Shravasti district.
